"We have used this camp site twice now and love it because of the opportunity to have a fully secure enclosed and private field for our rescue dog. Away from anyone else and so peaceful. The views from the top field of the sun setting over the moors are so relaxing and the owners are clearly working hard to regenerate the land for biodiversity and nature, something I really value when I am paying to stay somewhere." ~ Janie 2025 (wild camper)

"From an equestrian perspective the setup is perfect - I could see the stables from our bedroom! In addition to the huge (rubber matted) stable, Digby also had a secure, well-maintained paddock. The hacking is just incredible - you’re up onto Dartmoor in no time where you could hack for days. "Just amazing. The accommodation was excellent for both us and the horses and Tom and Victoria were the best hosts you could ask for and made us all feel so welcome - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were out of this world setting you up for a few hours in the saddle. "Couldn’t have spent my 30th birthday in a more gorgeous place ☺️ A truly special campsite. Breathtaking views, totally private and peaceful, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again! This part of Devon is really special.
